TELEMEDICINE VISITS

Since the beginning of the COVID 19 pandemic, Rheumatology Associates has offered telemedicine visits to our patients.  While quite challenging at first, most patients find these visits are helpful and ensure patient safety. 

The staff will call you before your appointment to explain the process. If you have an I phone or I pad, we will utilize FaceTime to communicate with you. If you have an android phone, we have an app called Doximity which allows us to text you a link to a video call. If you do not have a smart phone, we will call you on your regular phone.

New patients are being seen in the office but may also be seen by a telemedicine visit. This is particularly applicable to patients referred for osteoporosis.

Please prepare for a telemedicine visit as you would for a regular appointment. Have a list of medicines, any questions and if possible, check your vitals before the appointment.
